The Xpress singers are a performing chorus, delighting Helena audiences with quality a'cappella harmony for 30 years. We seek women who want to entertain and also accept the challenge of musical excellence. We also sing for our own enjoyment, emphasizing fun, friends, and four-part harmony. The Xpress participates in many activities such as: · An Annual Show · Regional Competition · Music Education Workshops · Performances for civic events · Performances at area Retirement and Nursing Homes · Chorus retreats and coaching session · Last Chance Stampede Ticket Sales · Race for the Cure Spaghetti Feed |

OUR DIRECTOR
Roger Morton has directed the chorus since 2000. He has over 35 years of experience with barbershop harmony. He directed the Great Falls men's chorus for many years, and sings in a comedy quartet called the Boothill Betterment Society which has been together for over 20 years. He also sings with a newly formed quartet, AirTime and the Last Chancers Barbershop Chorus.
He recently retired from Blue Cross/ Blue Shield and his wife Joyce cheerfully shares her husband with our chorus. |
